Paul Grout Associates is a small, award winning architectural practice based in Kendal, Cumbria.

The practice carries out a wide variety of work, normally seeing projects through from the early design stages to completion. Projects have ranged in cost from a few thousand pounds to over a million.

The practice was established in 1987 and, over the years, close working relationships have been built up with a number of professional consultants and contractors. On larger projects, teams can be assembled to provide a service tailored to the specific needs of the project or we can work with established teams. On smaller projects this is not always necessary and an individual service is offered. In all cases, architectural design work is carried out personally by Paul Grout.

Drawings are prepared using 'Autocad' computer draughting software. In addition balsa wood and cardboard design models are often used in the development of proposals.
